classmate PLAN analyzes a part or an assembly based on the CAD model and the available manufacturing technologies. Based on the analyzed geometry, the software determines which work processes are required and their order and which costs are associated. Raw material prices and other relevant factors for purchasing can be retrieved from the master data system and used for calculation.
The patented solution classmate CAD analyzes 3D CAD models automatically by form elements, e.g. outer or inner contours, holes, hole patterns, chamfers, curves, and notches. The software fills the class-specific characteristic bars with the retrieved values and creates 2D and 3D preview formats for visualization purposes. Your 3D CAD models can be found again way easier and you can use existing models faster and more securely for new tasks. You save a lot of time and work in design, not to mention the unnecessary duplicates that will NOT be created.
