costing24 is suitable for turning, milling and sheet metal/bending processing.
The following 3D CAD model formats are supported: SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Autodesk Inventor, Siemens NX, CATIA V5, Creo Parametric, JT (with XT-Brep), STEP, S3D (own format from simus classmate). costing24 works independently of the modeling methodology used. However, it must be a 3D solid model. 2D models or 3D surface models are not supported.
We know how important it is to keep your models safe. That’s why, once we’ve analyzed the native model, the information is only saved in simus’ own s3d format. We guarantee that the original files won’t be stored and can’t fall into the hands of third parties. Rest assured, your models never leave Germany, as our servers are located here.
